ABOUT US

In 2005 we were in a dead end business and going down hill at a great rate of speed. We needed a bailing can for a sinking ship. We had just acquired a Border Collie pup and we did not want to leave him at home, but we had to make calls to keep our business afloat. This was not going to work the way we wanted it to.

My wife Liz saw a dog walker go by our house and asked a neighbour what she thought they would charge for that service. The neighbour thought about $ 15 to $ 20. That was enough for Liz to approach me and run the idea past me. We dropped the idea for a while; we just hadn’t finished kicking a dead horse. Within a month or two things just went from bad to worse and we needed to make a change quickly. We went back to Liz’s idea with the dogs, and from there we were committed to going to the dogs.

In May 2005 we started with one dog and by December we had about 10 dogs and they just kept coming. We were walking more and more each day and if that wasn’t enough Liz brings up another one of her great ideas. We had a company set up already to sell dog treats, cloths and accessories so she thought we might just as well get into raw diet for dogs and cats. Once again I agreed and away we went. Freezers are piling up in our basement and the business is growing. We also do Wild Life photography so it was a natural to get into pet photography, as if we need more.

All this from one pup (our Border Collie Coke) who wanted a companion (Our second Border Collie Rum) and I’m sure the story is not over.
